COIMBATORE: A new child child woman with umbilical twine intact was discovered deserted at Neeliknampalayam in Coimbatore on Wednesday.
Passersby discovered the newborn in a fabric bag and alerted the 108 ambulance service.
The new child was rescued by paramedics of the 108 ambulance service and admitted to Coimbatore Medical School Hospital (CMCH).
A CMCH official stated the newborn had been born round 4 hours earlier than she was dropped at hospital.
“Medical doctors observed some anomalies on the new child’s decrease limb. So she is saved within the neonatal intensive care unit. However there have been no exterior accidents. The new child might be handed over to the district social welfare division in a number of days,” the official stated.
Police have been knowledgeable, and so they have been within the strategy of tracing the one who deserted the newborn.
